CHALLENGE

Adria Dom faced increasing complexity in managing a multi-model assembly line with manual processes, limited transparency, and inconsistent task execution. Management struggled to optimize performance due to fragmented data and siloed workflows, while workers lacked real-time guidance and clear accountability. Technologically, there was no system in place to orchestrate production dynamically or capture operational insights in real time, making continuous improvement difficult and slowing response to disruptions on the factory floor.

Real-Time Factory Insights with LPM

The LPM system transforms factories by creating a real-time digital twin of the production line. Workers receive step-by-step instructions through smartwatches, making task execution intuitive and traceable. Each operation is tracked live, allowing management to visualize delays, errors, and progress across departments.

SOLUTION

Higroup, in collaboration with Digiteh, developed a Lean Production Management (LPM) system powered by a digital twin. The platform aligned teams around real-time data, standardized workflows across departments, and empowered workers with guided tasks via smartwatches. Technically, it connected ERP, simulation, and wearable systems to synchronize planning and execution. From a business and management perspective, it enabled continuous improvement, reduced idle time, and fostered transparency and accountability—turning the production line into a coordinated, data-driven environment.

The finished LPM platform delivered a measurable increase in factory efficiency and set a foundation for agile, scalable production. By merging lean principles with real-time data and user-centric design, the system transformed factory operations from reactive to proactive. This case shows how a well-executed digital twin solution can drive performance, empower workers, and support smarter decision-making—serving as a model for manufacturers aiming to modernize operations and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving industry.
