Cookies we use
Our site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure how visitors use it. Google Analytics sets the following first-party cookies in your browser:
- _ga — distinguishes unique visitors by assigning a randomly generated identifier. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_<container-id> — used by Google Analytics to persist session state. Expires after 2 years.
We do not use these cookies for advertising. Separately, the only other cookie on this domain is the authentication session cookie used when our team logs into the content management system at /admin — it is essential, only ever set for logged-in editors, and never applies to regular visitors browsing the site.
Local storage
Some pages remember a light/dark display preference using your browser’s local storage rather than a cookie. This stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
Third-party services
- Calendly — if you book a call through our scheduling link, Calendly may set its own cookies under its own cookie policy.
- Google Analytics — provided by Google, used to measure site traffic as described above. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — our fonts are self-hosted at build time, so no request is made to Google’s servers when you load this site.
How to opt out
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and you can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by installing Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use this site.
