Fixed Scope & Price

After discovery workshops, we give you a fixed price & timeline.

defined scopefixed pricefixed timelineno overhead

What it is

Once the scope is clear, we quote a fixed price and a fixed delivery date, and we hold both. Change requests are handled openly: you see the cost and schedule impact before anything is agreed. This is the model with the least commercial risk for you and the most delivery discipline for us. It requires a scope that is genuinely settled, which is why it almost always follows a discovery engagement.

How it works

01

Define

We work from a settled scope, usually the output of a discovery engagement.

02

Quote

A fixed price and date, with assumptions and exclusions written out plainly.

03

Build

Two-week sprints and demos, so progress is visible against the plan.

04

Deliver

We hand over on the agreed date. Change requests are priced transparently as they come.

When to choose it

  • /A hard external deadline exists
  • /You want the delivery risk carried by us

// not sure?

A moving scope makes this model expensive for both of us.

Fixed price only works when the target holds still. If you expect to learn and change direction as you go, Dedicated Agile Teams is cheaper in practice. If the scope is not settled yet, start with Discovery & Consulting, that is what it is for.

Common questions

When is Fixed Scope & Price the right model?+

It works best when the requirements are well defined, the scope is unlikely to change significantly, and you need clear certainty around budget, timeline, and deliverables.

How do you determine the fixed price?+

We first define the scope, requirements, assumptions, dependencies, and delivery plan. Based on that agreed scope, we provide a fixed price and timeline before development begins.

What happens if the scope changes during development?+

Changes outside the agreed scope are handled through a transparent change request. We estimate the impact on cost and timeline before any additional work begins.

How are payments structured?+

Projects are typically milestone-based, with payments connected to agreed stages or deliverables rather than one large upfront payment.

Who carries the delivery risk?+

For the agreed scope, higroup takes responsibility for delivering the defined solution within the agreed commercial framework, provided the underlying assumptions and client dependencies remain valid.

What happens after the project is delivered?+

We complete the agreed handover and can continue with support, maintenance, or further product development under a separate engagement model.
